Second Annual Core Values in Action Award Winner Announced

Last year, the MKSD partners initiated an annual MKSD Core Values in Action Award. MKSD’s core values are: Perseverance, Selflessness, Passion, Progressive Thinking, Honesty, and Fearlessness. These are seen in action everyday at MKSD, but the partners wanted to take the time to recognize a particular employee each year that has gone above and beyond in their exemplifying of the core values.

We are happy to announce this year’s Core Values in Action Award recipient is… Jack Rogers!

Jack’s perseverance in dealing with challenging designs that have not always ended the way it was planned, shines through, and consistently provides the clients with a quality design and with the utmost professionalism. Honesty is in Jack’s blood. He sets realistic expectations and is open and honest and extremely trustworthy. Jack has shown fearlessness by always being willing to join any project he is needed on even if it is a project type he is unfamiliar with, jumping right into any challenge given to him. Jack exemplifies selflessness to fellow team members and clients whether it is by mentoring younger staff, giving credit to teammates when a job was well executed, or just lending a hand on a project or just bringing in the Costco order. He has a passion for getting things done right and achieving a great outcome for both the client and MKSD. And Jack’s progressive thinking is evident in his approach to creative and innovative problem solving for complex project details.

Jack was presented with his award at this year’s Annual Meeting which was held in Philadelphia at the Center for Architecture and Design on Friday, September 29^th.  He was presented with a cookbook and a beautiful Blackstone grill.
