Project Name: Embassy Bank at Liberty Street
Construction Completion/Opening Date: August 2021
Design Team: Silvia Hoffman, Megan Henry
Overall SF: 730 SF
Over the summer Embassy Bank opened its latest branch located just outside of the Allentown Fairgrounds. The newly renovated 703 SF building might be small, but its services are mighty! MKSD partnered with Barry Isett & Associates and Boyle Construction on the design and construction of the bank.
Looking to grow its network of services within the Lehigh Valley, the location at Liberty Street was a great opportunity for Embassy Bank to plant seeds. The project goal was to modernize the building as well as implement Embassy’s “banking without borders” philosophy.
One of the most important aspects of the renovation was the addition of an enclosed vestibule to bring clients inside to engage one-on-one with staff. The new vestibule provides a warm welcome for guests while balancing the cozy brick of the existing building with wood tones, fun seating, and a modern light fixture. For clients looking for quick service, a new drive-up ATM was installed at one of the four existing drive-thru lanes.
On the interior, the teller work area was renovated to provide a clean, modern workspace for staff.
The MKSD team would like to wish Embassy Bank the best of luck with their new location!
