First Annual MKSD Core Values in Action Award Winner Announced

The MKSD partners have initiated an annual MKSD Core Values in Action Award. MKSD’s core values are: Perseverance, Selflessness, Passion, Progressive Thinking, Honesty, and Fearlessness. These are seen in action everyday at MKSD, but the partners wanted to take the time to recognize a particular employee each year that has gone above and beyond in their exemplification of the core values.

So, the first annual Core Values in Action Award recipient is…Ali Higgs!

Ali has shown perseverance in dealing with complex renovations, challenging situations, and indecisive clients. She has shown selflessness juggling her time between multiple projects and always offering her time to meetings and new employees without hesitation. Passion is witnessed in Ali’s enthusiasm and excitement for what does as an architectural designer and progressive thinking is evident when she encourages clients to push past basic finishes and try something new. Ali is always honest and transparent with clients and is not afraid to admit she doesn’t know something and will gladly find out and get back to them with an answer. And lastly, fearlessness…Ali has demonstrated this consistently by always being willing to tackle new tasks, building types, design challenges without fear and she is determined to find a great solution for whatever is thrown her way.

Ali was presented with her award at a small celebration in the office Wednesday afternoon and was given a basket full of gift cards and other goodies.
